Is an animal crusader, she relates
to them better than people.
Let's not forget Ms. Tirella's REAl contributions to this city:
a) She has colorfully expressed naughty words in print againa dn again.
b) She makes sure to blatantly patronize the people who pay for her ads with big storries and other stuff she pulls off the Internet.
c) She isn't afraid to tell the rest of us her personal tragedies: her lazy dad or using her paper to retaliate against perceived threats to her-then boyfriend by printing names and or addresses: the lady on Institute Rd or putting in the address of nicolacommawoo.
d) Stealing stories from the Telegram and then getting the names all screwed up and calling the FIRE CHIEF a child sex abuser.
e) And then there was thee story of "keying" her ex boyfriend's car
f) And the love /hate relationship she was with the canal guy
Truth be told, most of the folks she has smeared don't go after her lest they face more public embarrassment even associating with her.

Come on folks. Her contributions to the city are immeasurable. You can't always count things in terms of dollars.
How many political careers has she made or broke in the city?
How many children or adults has she saved from the dastardly Republicans?
How many Green Island kids has she help put through college?
How many laws has she help change or pass that benefited the locals?
How many paying jobs has she created at ICT?
How many circus animal has she saved? Or greyhounds?
I guess the answer to all of the above is - none.
What Jenn is saying is true about the
fear factor- AD'S ARE CHEAP THEY GET SEEN. Look at Jim Polito he
insults averyone and people love
him he is # 1., and why is that
educationed white man do ya think or

My opinion open to others
I know the newspaper business is hurting but jeezzzz.
I read three papers these days. WSJ, Burlington Free Press, T&G. and when I'm back home and need some private time in the bathroom the ICT.
I used to see her at political events and always wondered if she put money in the hat.
By the way rumor has it Rick may get an appointment which could push Mr. Clean onto the council.
At least thats the scuttlebutt I've heard, but remember news travels slow up North

Yeah, that's a scarey thought, having Mr. Clean (good one BTW) on the council.
I've often wondered why Wusta doesn't have college professors running for public office.
Guess cause of the shorter hours and money's better working for a college. And its to push around kids than crazy adults.

I think its a two fold problem
1) People don't like smart people. Just look at the GOP field. Look at the All Star bloggers people flock to. Nicole, Bill the rain man, and Paulie.
2) Academics don't want the bs associated with elected office. A friend once pushed me top run for State Rep, I said no way in hell.

Our city council is the best example. Sorry, but it true folks.
The folks the blogger bunch attract are pretty lame excuses for citizens. Here ya get lots of entertainment.
