We suppose to polish their tarnished image after their failed 3 Stooges Christmas Show. To refresh your memory, Paulie Collyer (of NOLA infamy) launched an attack on Wonderland from Bill Randell's Blog based on a tip from Bill’s coffeeshop sleuthing. Paulie went ballistic - attacking everyone who ever commented on Wonderland, including an innocent woman, egged on by Harry Tembenis.
Not surprisingly Bill Randell had no issue with that; contrary to his Christmas sermon expounding on his daughter's 2nd grade cyberbullying lesson. Seems some folks don't practice what they preach.
So Paulie ranted into the wee hours of Christmas Eve, calling Wonderland a den of cyberbullies. A stroke of propagandistic genius if ever there was one, hoping to gain the moral upper-hand in the battle for Wusta's hearts and minds. Some good that did him eh?
Did you know that Rosalie Tirella tried that tactic too in her War on Wonderland. Yeah you read that right. Of all people, Rosalie Tirella calling folks cyberbullies. There’s gotta be some sort of stupid award for that.
Let us editorialize here for a moment. We think Paulie Collyer would be better accommodated focusing his energies elsewhere – like cleaning up Chandler St. He is after all the president of the Chandler Business Association. So start presidenting.
So here we are, a month later Bill Randell took a stab at damage control. A rather lamentable attempt - a post about Harry T, referencing a story in the T&G about the local sheriff using a tracking device for missing persons and Bill Randall in his inimitable logic makes a direct connection between NOLA’s charity proceeds from 2009 (the date on the check) and the article from 2012. Quite the leap eh?
But there is a still bigger question that remains unanswered and it’s been often repeated here. That is, whether that 2009 pseudo-check ever made it into the coffers of the NAA? In fact we addressed that issue a couple years ago in a post (Show Us the Money?) about the hoopla surrounding NOLA, Paulie’s money losing pseudo-charity event - whether any money was actually donated to the NAA. To this day no proof has ever been made public. The picture is hardly proof. A cashed check is - both sides. Harry Tembenis knows that, he works at State Street Bank.
We would like to believe that The 3 Stooges are not just barefaced publicity seekers fixated on their public personas, but upstanding citizens with honorable intentions. As it stands, their track record of social contributions is at best - questionable. Sadly this town has seen more than its share of BS-artists and hypocrites touting their fictitious achievements. Kissing one’s ass is not only disingenuous but unhygienic.
So, here’s to you Bill Randell, Harry Tembenis and Paulie Collyer, Wonderland’s Blogging Fool Award. This time you really earned it.
Hey guys, suggest you get a publicist. Heard Rosalie Tirella is looking for clients.

Do we even know if the RANTdull, Fat Ass, and the human tellitubby ever confronted him at his hangout.
They sure made a big deal about knowing where he hung out.
On another mater I didn't even look at the check, of one of excess mass is probably thinking how many chicken wings he can eat with it.
sad that some people take the four horseman of the blogephere apocalypse seriously
The stooges are as dumb as dumb can be. Thanks for taking them to task Will. One of your better posts.
Yay cyberbullies. grunt,grunt,grunt
Ah Paulie, we hardly knew ye. The Christmas Eve Meltdown has to rate as the #1 highlight of the Worcester blogosphere.
But I'm not without hope! The NolaFest is coming up in June.
I expect a Newt like comeback in South Carolina that there will be further entertainment to come.

Hey folks! Its sad that they now stoop to stealing credit from others. Lot of that is going around. Really, what is it with Wusta?
Please note that NOLA made zero contributions to NAA or any public or private agency in 2010 and 2011. Draw your own conclusions folks. Wonder what 2012 holds in store?
Saw that NOLA 2012 is in the pipeline. Might even go this year to get a closer look.
But then again - why?
Same ole stupid bands
Same ole stupid politicians
Same ole stupid everything
