Extend waiting periods. Make owners store weapons in impenetrable heavy and expensive vaults. Limit the amount of ammo one can buy. Outlaw magazines over 5 cartridges. Let the police or whoever require owners show police or whoever that they have registered weapons in their possession. every three months. Licenses valid for just one-year. Renew every 12 months.
